Fire Fighters EMT Monument

This Fire Fighter EMT Monument standing at 16’ tall on a multiple sided podium is dedicated by content and design to all Fire Fighters and EMT’s in the nation. Volunteer or full time this multiple figure human story stands to honor all under the Fire Fighter EMT title or heading who save lives and property as a dedicated profession. This Fire Fighter EMT Monument housed at a fire station in Morton Township has no equal by design or content in the nation. As noble as the cause and the need this unique monument as offered and presented which was embraced by a Michigan Senator, The States Fire Marshall at the time of the monuments install on site met resistance from a backward and limited thinking poorly placed station administration. As an artist with public art in ten US states mostly earned from Regional or National competitions I have one working code.  To build a public art statement that is unique and important you often need to wade thru the nonsense to achieve the better good. Thanks to the good support and strong will to resist the nonsense the Morton Township Treasurer applied and received Congressional Recognition for this creative Fire Fighter EMT monument housed in her home township.
